They are keeping Seth at UCLA. His glucose levels are unstable and they're afraid he could go into shock and sustain brain damage. Also his blood clotting factor is at a dangerous level. So, he is being readmitted back into the hospital. We're going back into the "split family mode." I'll be taking care of our two sons (3&5) Sam will stay with Seth. We are praising God always in the midst of these trials. Amen!

Dear J-Walk Fellowship,
Good Morning to you All,
God's mercies are new every morning! We are thanking Him and praising Him for all that He has done.
Sorry, that I haven't updated you on Mark since the first email. I have to admit life has been a little crazy lately. But we know there has been wonderful friends helping to keep you updated. Mark is doing much better now. He came home from the hospital AGAIN, after a bout with blood clots. He said the clots are more painful then his head. So he really needs to rest, which as you all know is very hard for him to do. The kids and I are really seeing just how much he does. It has been keeping all 6 of us busy! So we do ask that you forgive us for the delays with J-Walk, and any confusion that it has caused. J-Walk will be starting again on September 23. We will be having a team meeting on Saturday Sept. 19th. So mark your calenders! If you can RSVP back to me that would be great! Also if someone in your teaching team has not received the new curriculum please let me know.
There is only one hard copy for each team to share but, like last year you will be able to get it on the computer.(I'll get it out soon) Please be getting together somehow with the other teachers in your teams to plan & discuss the upcoming year.
We love you all. Words truly cannot even express how grateful, thankful & blessed we have been by your prayers, love, care & support. We did feel as Psalm 23 says that we had to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. However, during this walk we literally have felt lifted up and carried. It is true God is good! He gave us abundantly more than we could have imagined, But He provided ABUNDANTLY more then we could of ever imagined. It has been overwhelming to comprehend all He has provided through you all His wonderful saints! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
One of the scriptures God had given me the night before Mark's brain surgery; Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in you and in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge until these calamities have passed by. Psalm 57:1
