Message Tues 4/24/12 Chuck Smith's own update from Pastor's Perspective 3pm pst live: Well I appreciate all of the prayers, I can't express how grateful and thankful I am for all your prayers. God is answering your prayers. I was talking with the surgeon today, he wants to go in and do surgery. There's one small spot left of cancer. The danger is if it isn't taken care of it could multiply. So its best to remove the middle lobe of my right lung. I will probably have the surgery done, trusting the LORD to do His work. The doctors can do what they can do but its up to the LORD to do the healing. The LORD has been opening doors to be His witness to the doctor. I believe I will give witness to the work of the Lord. The doctor is open. It will put me out for 3-5 days in the hospital and thirty days in recovery. So I will probably do the program from home.
